Description
Manufactured by Winchester in 1928 as a modern version of the model 1892. Only 25,000 of these models produced between 1924 and 1932 with the .44 WCF being the rarest. Features a 22" round Nickel Steel barrel. Rear elevation adjustable notch sight and blade with Lyman brass bead front sight. Side loading action with button magazine. Fitted with walnut straight stock and matching forearm. Capped with a blued steel forend and serrated butt plate. Equipped with swivel studs. LOP: 13". CALIBER: 44 WCF. S/N: 968758. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
Condition
Retains 85% of a reapplied finish with areas turning to a plum tone. Forend cap shows wear on the bottom and left side. Stock shows very light dings scratches. Stud at the bottom of the stock has a small chip beside it. Excellent bore and mechanics.
