Description
Manufactured by Inland Division of General Motors and imported by Blue Sky Productions. Barrel and receiver is both dated 1944, according to Scott Duff's book. Features an 18" barrel with rear adjustable peep sight and shrouded blade front sight. Barrel is stamped with the import mark on the left BLUE SKY / ARLINGTON, VA. and top is marked INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 6-44. The top of the receiver is marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 on the front and INLAND DIV. / 5246081 on the rear. Barrel measures a ME of 2 or better and has a bayonet lug. Fitted with a standard carbine wood stock with a four-rivet wood barrel cover. Capped with a checkered steel butt plate. Includes a canvas sling and a 15 round magazine. Comes in the in the original Blue Sky box with paperwork. LOP: 13-1/4". CALIBER: 30 Cal. S/N: 5246081. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
Condition
Retains the matte finish with a few light scuffs. Stock and cover show scuffs and dings. Good bore and mechanics.
