This matching serial numbered set was manufactured in 1984. Both pieces chambered for .44-40 WIN. Winchester Model 1894 features a 20" Winchester Proof Steel barrel with all standard Winchester markings. Each side of the barrel features gold foliate scroll with a Winchester logo on the left and the Winchester factory on the right. Adjustable buckhorn rear sight with white diamond insert and gold washed blade front sight. Blued side loading gate receiver with gold border and foliate scroll on each side. Winchester cowboy logo and oval "WC" on the left with a portrait of Oliver Winchester on the right. The top tang has Oliver Winchester's signature in gold. Case hardened colored lever. Fitted with a nicely figured walnut English style stock with spade style checkered grip and matching forearm. Capped with a blued steel crescent butt plate. Colt Single Action Army features a 7-1/2" barrel with rear integrated notch sight and blade front. Stamped on top "+COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A.+". Each side of the barrel features gold foliate scroll with a Colt logo on the left and the Colt Hartford factory on the right. Stunning case hardened colored receiver with blued frame. Blued six-shot cylinder with gold line at rear, gold foliate scroll, a rampant colt logo in an oval and a stylized "WC" in an oval opposite side. The backstrap has Samuel Colt's signature in gold. Fitted with smooth satin walnut grips. This set comes in a nice oak, red velvet lined display case. Includes a corner compartment with two skeleton keys to lock the case.
