Manufactured in 1979. This early snake gun features a 6" ventilated rib barrel with full length ejector shroud. Rear adjustable notch with front ramp sights. Left side of the barrel is stamped "PYTHON .357 /* 357 MAGNUM CTG*". Right side of barrel is stamped with a single line Colt address. Left side of the frame is stamped with the Rampant Colt logo. Nickel plated finish with a six round fluted, swing-out cylinder chambered for 357 Magnum or 38 Special cartridges. Fitted with smooth wood finger grooved grips. Includes a Boyt brand soft case. Retains 90%+ original finish with light hazing. A scuffed area in the right top side of the grip. Nice bore and great mechanics.
